Brittni Dubuisson

Brittni started volunteering at CARE in March of 2022. A native of South Louisiana, she moved to North Texas in 2018 to attend graduate school, with a secondary goal of becoming a CARE volunteer. After she graduated, she finally became a volunteer and devoted most of her weekends and free time to helping at CARE. As a volunteer, she enjoys assisting with tours and gaining experience in animal husbandry.

Brittni holds a Bachelor’s of Art from Southeastern Louisiana University where she studied Photography and Art History, and a Master’s Degree in Art Education with a Professional Certificate in Museum Education from the University of North Texas. She also has almost ten years of experience in the hospitality industry, with skills in sales, office administration, management, and customer service.

She currently works as the Rentals and Events Coordinator at a local arts non-profit, where she enjoys working with the community and coordinating memorable events for her clients. She lives in Rhome, Texas with her husband, daughter, and their three cats.

Brittni has had a passion for animals her entire life, with special emphasis on cats - big and small. She is a lifelong learner and is passionate about conservation and education. She enjoys programming and creating experiences that help boost awareness, appreciation, and curiosity for wildlife, and hopes to inspire others to advocate for our world’s animals.

She became a board member in 2025 and looks forward to helping CARE achieve its goals while boosting and upholding its mission to continue its important work.
