Featured Volunteer- Laura Frazier
Laura Frazier interned at CARE in the summer of 2011 and fell completely in love with all of the cats and people. Her work at CARE made her certain that animal husbandry was the career that she wanted to pursue. Now she returns to volunteer any time that she’s home from school. After receiving her BA in Conservation and Wildlife Management this May from Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, PA Laura hopes to get a husbandry position at a zoo in the Dallas area to stay close to both of my families – her own and her CARE family. She also recently became the proud adopted mommy of the white tiger Consuela.
Laura is such an important part of CARE. She works tirelessly and with positivity and enthusiasm to help care for the animals as often as she can. She gives up her well deserved breaks from school to come help us out when we need it. We don’t know what we would have done without her over the holidays when we were without interns to help clean, feed and care for the cats and lemurs. She really stepped up and lent a hand when we were short a few. Thanks Laura for being a part of our family and for continually showing your dedication!
